What is LED?

A light emitting diode(LED) is a semiconductor device that emits light when an electric current flows through it.


   

  • LED is a light source.
  • It has two terminals, longer one is positive and shorter one is negative.
  • Positive terminal of the LED connect with positive of the battery.
  • Negative terminal of the LED connect with negative of the battery.                                                                                                                                                                             Symbol of LED:
