What is Linear Voltage Regulator?

 A Linear Voltage Regulator is an electronic component that is used to reduce and maintain constant voltage in a circuit.

There are different types of voltage regulator ICs for different different uses








like 7805 IC is used for 5 volt constant output,

       7806 IC is used for 6 volt constant output,

       7808 IC is used for 8 volt constant output,

       7809 IC is used for 9 volt constant output,

       7812 IC is used for 12 volt constant output,

       7815 IC is used for 15 volt constant output,

       7818 IC is used for 18 volt constant output,

       7824 IC is used for 24 volt constant output,
